The Power of Location
For many, happiness depends on where they are — no wonder that traveling is so high on people's favorite activity list.
As a nine-year-old, I knew deep in my heart that I was going to blossom in the USA, and not in Luxembourg. When I finally got to discover the United States at the age of 16 my heart opened. I will never forget what it felt like touching US ground at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston. It felt like I had finally arrived at home, where my soul belonged.
It took me another 12 years to immigrate for good to the land of the brave, but I sure was reborn on that December 12th of 2011.
After almost seven years of living in this beautiful nation, now as a proud citizen myself, I cannot believe how much it has transformed me and helped me grow. I got a Bachelor's degree, took charge of my health and physical fitness, became a public speaker and a successful small business owner.
